    LSWAIC
Saint is currently accepting new clients!
In network with Premera, Lifewise, Kaiser
Out Of Network rate - $140 per 55 minute individual session.

    What’s good?! How Y'all doing?
My name is St.Ennah Akudihor but you can call me Saint for short. I am originally from down south New Orleans, Louisiana but moved to Seattle in 2017. I am black, specifically of Nigerian Descent. I identify as queer and also non binary, specifically agender and genderfluid and polyamorous.

My practice is grounded in creating a space you can come in to be your authentic true self. Within my therapeutic space, I acknowledge that trauma has impacted us in one way or another, so being intentional about creating a trauma informed space is vital. When it comes to my practice, I keep in mind that our society, systems in our society, institutions, our identities, and our various communities and interpersonal relationships influence our perspective and the way we move through life.

I work with Adults and youth (+13). I thrive most when I am serving queer and trans, black, and brown communities. I like to think about myself as a relational therapy who supports clients process different events and struggles that come up in life. I provide LGBTQIA+ affirming mental health therapy. I also bring in an afrocentric perspective into my work as a way to work towards decolonizing our minds and bodies in the way we think. I provide support around topics such as anxiety, depression, trauma, race, gender, sexuality, navigating relationships, navigating interpersonal conflicts. I draw from different modalities which includes CBT. Acceptance and Commitment Theory, Intersectional Feminism, Systems Theory, and Relational Cultural Theory, and Racialized Trauma Healing, which I am currently learning more about. I am also an artist outside of being a therapist so I plan to explore ways to incorporate art into my practice.

    EDUCATION AND TRAINING

I received a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University. I then completed my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Washington in 2022. Now you may be wondering…that's quite the switch. Yes! Yes, it is! For me I realized that I did not want to be a part of an industry with so many negative impacts to communities globally.

I have been in the social service field since 2015. I have worked as a CNA, behavioral specialist, youth counselor, intake specialist, housing case manager, and since May 2022 a mental health therapist. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (61306200). As a therapist with an associate license, I receive clinical supervision from Carrie Pope, LICSW Credential Number LW60640903.

    VALUES

As a black non binary therapist, I value creating a space to be vulnerable: a space where you are seen as your authentic self, a space to be able to grow and heal on your life journey.

Let me leave you with this, you are the expert of your own life and that's something I want to honor and respect. I am here to support you with growing and healing. When you step into my space I want you to understand that you are valued. My hope is to always take a collaborative approach in your own healing journey.

  • Cal Bartolone, She/They

    LSWAIC

Cal is currently accepting new clients!
In network with Premera, Lifewise, Kaiser
Out of Network Rate $140 per 55 minute session.

My name is Cal, and I was born and raised in Chicago on the unceded homelands of the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi Nations. I descended from Sicilian and Irish immigrants, and I am white, Jewish, non-binary and queer. I currently live in Seattle with my partner on the stolen land of the Duwamish and Coast Salish Tribes.

I decided to become a therapist because of the insufficient LGBTQIA+ representation in the mental health field. Not only are there limited queer providers, but the field of psychology has been weaponized against the queer community historically. I acknowledge the inexcusable pain that many queer clients have experienced while attempting to seek treatment for their mental health. with a trauma informed approach that is collaborative and respectful of their identity, I meet clients who may feel mistrustful and hesitant about seeking mental health services. I believe that as a queer client, you deserve to be affirmed and treated with dignity by your provider.

Some of the approaches that I use with clients include DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I want clients to be able to walk away from our work together with tangible skills that they can use in their life.

I’ve worked with folks who are experiencing depression, anxiety, anger, PTSD, personality disorders, substance misuse, mood disorders, stress, and trauma. I view these experiences as reasonable outcomes to the challenges of life in this western culture, especially as marginalized people. I am also knowledgeable about the complexities of neurodivergence (including Autism and Attention Deficit Disorder) as a non-man.

I enjoy addressing interpersonal issues with clients. Humans are inherently social beings, and we thrive when our relationships with our friends, partners, co-workers, family, and other community members are happy and healthy!

Approaches that I might use while working with individuals who are struggling with interpersonal issues include applying some principles from the Gottman method, practicing interpersonal effectiveness skills from DBT, and assisting individuals in setting and maintaining personal boundaries.

    EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

I graduated from Illinois State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minors in Women’s and Gender Studies and Sociology. I was then introduced to social work and I graduated with my master’s in social work from University of Illinois in 2023. During the last year of my master’s program, I worked as a counselor with an employee assistance program, primarily serving clients from international communities.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in the state of Washington (61441076). As a therapist with an associate license, I receive clinical supervision from Carrie Pope, LICSW Credential Number LW60640903.

    VALUES

My core values are based in treating others with dignity and respect, first and foremost. As a provider, I’m intentional about creating a space that people can feel safe and comfortable in.

I value cultural humility and anti-racism both in my work and my personal life. I value understanding the connections between folks physical, mental, social, and environmental health, providing effective mental health assessment and treatment. I’ll likely ask you about how various systems of oppression have impacted you and your mental health.

I value protecting individuals’ autonomy and privacy, and meeting clients with emotional support based in non-judgement and warmth. No issue is too big or too small, and no topic is off limits. I welcome you to share whatever is on your mind.

They look forward to connecting with any client invested in personal and collective growth. In particular, they hope they can be a resource for survivors who are QTBIPOC (gaysians and theysians, say hey), abolitionists, and community organizers. VALUES

Clinical spaces can and do cause clients harm. In their role within this system, Anis values informed consent, peer-to-peer support, and brave mess. They value community accountability and anyone who risks social capital to say or do the necessary thing. They value abolition and decolonization as diligent practices and inevitable futures, not marketing terms. They value complexity and conversations that trouble and expand our stories of survival. They value pleasure. They value their clients’ spiritual relationships with their ancestors and the many planes of existence. • Tygh Stephens, They/She

    LSWAIC
Tygh is currently accepting new clients!
In network with Premera, Lifewise, Kaiser
Out Of Network rate - $140 per 55 minute session, and $160 per 55-minute group therapy sessions.

Tygh identifies as a white, fat, queer, trans fem, witchy, radical fairy, and handbag collector!

Tygh originates from Chehalis, Washington and currently lives in Tacoma. Their upbringing in a rural community informs their queer identity and clinical practice; it allows them to deconstruct the pressures of metronormativity and offer understanding for the queer folk who constructed their identity outside of queer spaces. Tygh practices primarily from a person-centered social justice framework using a narrative, feminist, and queer-centered lens. They  provide talk-based therapy in a trauma informed, anti-oppression, and harm reductionist space. Working with LGBTQIA+ clients is Tygh’s clinical focus, as they know what it’s like to receive therapy that doesn’t center queerness.

Within the therapeutic space, Tygh uses humor, empathy, and unconditional positive regard to build rapport with their clients. They believe clients' strengths and dreams are at the very center of their healing journey. They strive to foster a therapeutic experience that offers support, understanding, and sass to explore day-to-day stress, burnout, and micro/macroaggressions that inform why clients are seeking therapy. Through narrative therapy, Tygh provides a structure for clients to construct the life they most want to live while also acknowledging and providing space to explore the current system and injustices that are outside of their control. Tygh specializes in providing gender affirming care for trans clients looking to explore their identities; empowerment for survivors of domestic & sexual violence who are looking to take back their lives; a safe space for emerging adults as they navigate our scary world; and an affirming home for sex workers and other marginalized groups who are looking for understanding, intersectionality, sex positivity, and a kink- & poly-informed practitioner.

Tygh works with teens (16+) and adults focusing on treating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, minority stress and burnout, grief work, gender affirming care, identity exploration and formation, trauma, and neurodivergence.

    Education

After receiving their AA from Centralia College in 2011, Tygh transferred to Western Washington University and earned their BA in Communication and Queer Studies, graduating in 2013. After many years of working in retail and customer service where they found their passion for working with people, they decided to pursue their MSW at Widener University where they graduated in 2021. While working on their MSW, they worked as a domestic violence & sexual assault advocate where they first began providing advocacy and case management to underserved communities. Tygh decided to become a therapist after seeing the injustices that individuals face in crisis and the harmful impact therapists have on their clients when they do not use a social justice lens.

    Values

Tygh cites honesty, empathy, authenticity, and humor as their core therapeutic values. Being who you are is the most radical form of self-expression and activism, and that is the ultimate goal that drives the care you will receive. Through this, the work will challenge our system that prioritizes the patriarchy, capitalism, and other tools of white supremacy that aim to keep the status quo.

  • Lara Hayden, they/she

    LICSW, Clinical Supervisor

    Currently accepting new Associates

Lara identifies as a white, fat, queer agender person. Their favorite question to ask is "How can we make things suck less, together?". Lara's favorite folks to work with are people impacted by systems that aren't made to support them. She loves working with folks of all identities and has particular experience supporting people who are queer, trans, non-monogamous, fat, disabled, and neurodivergent.

They practice from an anti-oppressive, feminist, relational framework; their goal is to support individuals in seeking survival and joy while experiencing the mortifying ordeal of being known. She has a collaborative model that prioritizes the therapist sharing "insider information" about different therapy approaches so each individual can choose which tools resonate with them. This results in care that incorporates tools from narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. Lara is experienced in working with youth, adults, and families navigating career, chronic illness, gender-affirming medical care, eating disorder care, fertility care, and parenting.

As a clinical supervisor, Lara is passionate about helping connect the dots between mental health private practice, academic and evidence-based resources, and the informal resources that our clients bring to the table. As a clinician and a supervisor, they are just as likely to bring you a free resource, a journal article, a meme, or sometimes even all three. They are passionate about helping both clients and clinicians build joy, rest, and sustainability into life under capitalism.

Lara is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington and Idaho. They are also an approved clinical supervisor for associate level clinicians working toward licensure in Washington State.

She has experience working in community health care, including chronic disease support, HIV clinical case management, student health services, and hospital-based outpatient care clinics. They provide training on eating disorder informed care for all bodies, queer and trans fertility and family building, the intersections of neurodivergence and gender affirming care, and making systemic change in health care.

    VALUES

Lara values connection, authenticity, and community. They value imperfection, persistence, and learning together. They believe that life under racism, cisheterosexism, ableism, and capitalism is too dangerous for any of us to go it alone.
